Best Compact Digital Camera Canon sd780is
I bought this Canon sd708is camera and immediately took it on a two week trip in Europe where I got to use it each indoor and outdoor.
The primary cause I purchased it was to have the capacity to take decent photographs having a camera that fits in side pocket of my jeans. I was not disappointed in any respect. The pictures came out well, the camera feels solidly built, with intuitive menus and effortless access to characteristics.
The videos are decent even when shot in lower res mode. My only complaint seriously is that the tiny switch that controls whether the camera is in auto/pro/video mode modifications position pretty simply for those who put the camera inside a pocket, so one must be cautious to verify that the camera is within the right mode. I truly adore this Canon sd780is camera!! It’s a replacement for a Canon PS A630 which I also actually loved. Canon is a superb brand. Don’t let the tiny size fool you, this camera packs a significant punch!
The flash is awesome…works so nicely. A lot of occasions when I grab a stranger and ask them to take a picture for me they’ll respond with something like “wow, this requires good pictures!” They don’t expect it from such a modest camera. I Love having the tiny size which can match within the pockets of my tight jeans so comfortably, too. =) I adore the HD film function! The sound operates wonderful (it seems like I’d noticed negative evaluations about that, but I haven’t noticed any challenges in any way).
It doesn’t possess a handful of features that my old 1 had, like manual focus and having the ability to adjust the quantity of flash, and certainly the flip out LCD screen the A630 had (I Definitely wish Canon would include that in additional cameras–I LOVED that!) but it’s a tiny price tag to pay. This Canon sd780is camera requires superb photographs with vivid colors. The start up time is swiftly, time among photographs is fine.
I wish the battery lasted just a little longer, but added batteries in an off brand are low cost (I bought one particular right here on Amazon for around $6) so I just keep a charged one particular handy in my purse or camera case.
