At this time, we are going to talk about berkey filters.

As you may know, there are quite a few different berkey water filter systems, each with it’s own water holding capacity, it’s own number of elements (fully expanded) and each with it’s own flow rate at full expansion.

The smallest of them, the Travel Berkey, has a capacity of 1.75 gallons, has a 2 filter capacity and has a flow rate of 2.75 Gallons / Hr.

Next, also with a 2 filter size|Also holding 2 filters|Also able to hold 2 filters} is the Berkey Light, with a capacity of 2,75 gallons and a 4.25 Gallons / Hr flow rate.

Moving up, we have the Big Berkey, which holds 2.25 gallons|with a capacity of 2.25 gallons}, able to hold 4 filters and has a flow rate of 7.0 Gallons / Hr.

Also with a 4 filter capability is the Royal Berkey with a holding capacity of 3.25 gallons and a flow rate of 8.0 Gallons / Hr.

Next up are the 6 filter Imperial Berkey and Crown Berkey. The Imperial has a 4.5 gallon capacity and a 16.5 Gallons / Hr flow rate, while the Crown Berkey has a 5.0 gallon capacity and a flow rate of 26.0 Gallons / Hr.

Considering water filter replacements, nothing compares to the Black Berkey filters.
