Local Locksmiths or Nationwide Locksmiths?
It is a proven fact that when people flick through the Yellow Pages, Thomson Local or BT phonebook – and are looking for a trade, they always tend to phone a local telephone number.
We’ve all done it – sat there, and ignored the 0800 numbers, the area codes out of town, or the advert that has a PO Box showing. And – why? Because we firmly believe that a local trades person will be able to quote you cheaper, instil more confidence in you because they wouldn’t want to meet you in the Supermarket queue knowing they’ve done a poor job….and ‘we can trust local folk’ can’t we?
Well…as the owner of a Locksmith Leeds, we are ‘yes’ a local company, but we also have 18 ‘local’ folk across the North that conduct the work on my behalf – and no, we don’t put the prices up because we use subcontractors, yes my head office is based probably no where near the job, but also we have a list a mile long of testimonials from people thanking us for our rapid response time, very reasonable pricing, and all in all efficient service.
My business concept might be slightly different but, in answer to the question on a lot of peoples lips = Local or Nationwide? The answer = ‘Doesn’t really matter as long as the prices are very reasonable and the response time is even better.
