world of warcraft action figures
Collectors appear in all stripes, those that genuinely employ a love for which they may be collecting, those who just love the chase of with the ability to complete a collection, and people who hope their investment will eventually repay. One doesn’t should be among the many uncounted players of Warcraft to collect its wow character figures. The younger players though, or the young at heart, could have a difficult experience resisting the urge to consider the warcraft action figures of these box. The slightly older players may also obtain the warcraft action figures reminiscent of He-Man figures sold while in the 80’s.
You’ll find four main companies that started manufacturing warcraft figures since Warcraft II. These are Blizzard Entertainment, Toycom, Visionary (SOTA), and DC Direct (of DC Comics). From these companies, DC Direct has made the biggest line of figures, 25 figures including state of the art figures, through 2009.
Blizzard, the organization behind World of Warcraft, or WoW has only released five figures. They are Human Footman, Orc Grunt, Malfurion Stormrage, Muradin Bronzebeard, and Thrall.
Toycom has released six figures all from Warcraft III. SOTA produced only three figures which are: Tauren Shaman, Undead Warlock, and Jungle Troll Voodoo Priest.
DC Direct released its first group of warcraft action figures in 2007. This first series was comprised of Meryl Felstorm: Undead Warrior, Rehgar Earthfury: Orc Shaman, Valeera Sanguinar: Blood Elf Rogue, along with a deluxe figure, Illidan Stormrage: Night Elf Demon Hunter. DC has released five series over the end of 2009.
As Steve Carell’s character, Andy, proved in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, aquiring a mint toy collection generally is a nice investment. Those unaware of WoW, but looking for the next “hot” collectible, may want to consider these wow action figures because WoW is a Guinness World Record holding massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), holding the record for most subscribers, over 11 million. With that many followers worldwide it’s likely a market will exist in the future for anyone collectors who made it possible to purchase the warcraft action figures now and keep them. And unlike the He-Man figures these WoW action figures will not be currently being mass produced and sold in retail outlets.
