Not convinced you can afford to recreate your room- then check out out these tips before you decide
For most people, bedrooms are the perfect place for everyone to relax and leave behind the strain of the day to day world behind. You yearn for a nice and contemporary room but don’t want to spend too much. Not sure if you believe me..? Check out these and see for yourself.
Bed linens. If you want to spruce up your bedroom on a budget, start off with a neutral spread and bedskirt. Having simple bed linens will give a base for more adventurous bedroom designing efforts. And neutral doesn’t need to be wearisome. Try assorted textures and weaves that will liven up your room. Go ahead and get the best bed linens that you can come up with the money for though, you won’t regret it. My personal very faves are 100 pc Egyptian cotton sateen that have counts of 400 or more.
Bedroom pillows. Go nuts with ornamental bedroom pillows. You might want to add color, some texture and some lavishness with these small pillows. And they are low-cost for the most part also. Go to the scrap bin at your local fabric shop or hobby lobby. Get some luxurious fabric like buckskin, silk, linen or corderoy to assemble your own fantastically stylish bedroom decorative pillows.
Accessories. Make use of your vision to create dazzling accessories. How about adding dried or fresh flowers, maybe flower boxes also. If you like wicker, cool. If not you could opt for more posh materials like porcelain or metal. How about a number of brand new mirrors..? You might include some that are little with pretty accents, and big ones on a number of walls to make your master bedroom give the impression of being bigger and make it feel more roomy and luxurious. You might get a hold of some decorative wall lighting fixtures if that’s your taste. Paintings or other wall art sorts of accessories might be cool.
Nothing dresses up and freshens up a master bedroom like a new coat of paint. I’m probably silly but I actually love the smell too. Listen, you don’t have to get odd here but why not try something fresh..? Are you tired of ivory and white walls..? Why not take a crack at pale purple, green, brown cream shades or even blue and trim it all out in white. Or possibly include some textured wallpaper in only the corner of your bedroom. You could put a your most favorite reading chair or recliner there and use that space as an extra unique sanctuary. Learn all about kids bedding.
A small bit of creativity will help you turn your master bedroom into that dream retreat you need.
